I live in Auckland, and I am a mama to 2 beautiful children. I came to New Zealand around 14 years ago from the UK, and fell in love with this country. With it’s stunning landscapes, creative and entrepreneurial people, it was the perfect fit. I enjoy travelling back to the UK regularly to photograph weddings.

I am all about story telling, capturing real, unposed moments. I specialise in reportage style wedding photography, and lifestyle portraits.

A little about me -

I love good coffee, good wine, and good food.

Travel is a HUGE obsession, whether it’s experiencing new cultures, travelling long haul, or local weekend road tripping.

I could never live far away from the ocean.

I feel lucky every day that I make a living from something that I love.

I am a hopeless romantic.

I’m not much of a gym bunny, and instead enjoy keeping fit by fun past times, such as wake boarding, skiing, & snow boarding.

I have photographed over 100 weddings, and to me the best moments at a wedding day, are the real ones, and not ones constructed by the photographer. As a story teller, I will capture your day in a natural, documentary style. My style best suits laid back couples, who want to spend less time being posed, and more time having fun on their day. I want to capture all the special genuine moments of your day, along with all the parts of the day you didn’t get to see. Granny wiping away tears during the ceremony, the flower girl sneaking cake under the tables, or uncle bob showing off his moves on the dance floor. I am there to photograph your story, the real moments.

I also shoot portraits in the same style, and specialise in lifestyle newborn photography. A lifestyle Newborn session is much more natural that a studio session, and normally takes place in your home. I love to tell stories, and this session is about capturing your family, in all it’s beauty and craziness. If you have a toddler that is running around - no worries! If the dog snuggles up on the sofa with you whilst you are feeding the baby - perfect! This reportage session is all about those real moments.

“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever…. it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”
